Medsafe Pharmacy is a family owned and operated pharmacy business which is situated in Preston West, Victoria. The proprietors, Vania Da Silva and Yateen Khatri, have extensive experience in the provision high quality pharmacy services which encompasses Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Medsafe Pharmacy was established in 2010 so that Vania and Yateen could lead and manage the pharmacy services under their own unique brand.

Vania Da Silva’s portfolio includes the operation and management of the retail arm of the business.  Vania is a people orientated person with a caring attitude, who loves spending time with her patients and is committed to working in partnership with them and their General Practitioners to improve the individual health outcomes. Vania strives to know the name of every patient and employs every resource available to ensure that patients receive accurate advice about prescription and over-the-counter medication, with the ultimate goal of enhancing to their overall wellbeing.

Yateen Khatri is responsible for the operation and management of pharmacy services to the aged care sector with a focus on residential aged care. With over 13 years of experience, Yateen and his dedicated Medsafe team have established a boutique pharmacy service which is responsive to the needs of all residents across their facilities. Medsafe also supports aged care staff through education and advice to ensure that resident medication needs are met.  Yateen and his team have developed effective communication channels with GP’s so that the resident care outcomes are optimised, and well-being maintained.
