The Medsafe Service Profile includes:
- Inhouse Medication Sachet machines
- All Regular Medications are packaged in sachets on site, and we do not outsource packaging to a third party.
- Any prescribed changes to regular medication will initiate a new roll of sachets which will be sent in the next delivery. This system reduces any risk of a medication error.
- For new resident admission, facilities receive their sachet on the day of admission if medication chart is sent to the pharmacy prior to 5pm.
- Delivery Schedule
- Monday to Friday – twice daily service (10am and 5pm cut off) and
- Saturday/Sunday (3pm cut off) – once daily service (PM)
- An After-Hours Service for urgent medications
- An Imprest System is available if required, the establishment costs and ongoing renewal fees will be met by Medsafe.
- Pharmacy Accounts
- Invoices are issued directly to the Resident or the Nominated Family Representative on a monthly basis.
- Payment options include direct deposit, cheque, direct debit and over the phone with credit card.
- Fees
- Medsafe Pharmacy does not charge any fees.
- Medication trolleys ($3K) are provided at no charge
- We collect and dispose of unwanted medications from your facility
